So, as some know, I've been wading through as many old episodes of Doctor Who as I can stand.  It's not that I don't like them, it's just that... well take the original Star Trek, make it older. and give it a lower budget.  Also, there are more than 700 episodes.

Anyway, I have finally finished the original run.  Meaning that I have watched at least one serial for each Doctor.  In Six's case, only the one.  Don't like him.  In other Doctors' cases, 75% of what was on Netflix.

So, after finishing the last of Seventh Doctor, I went on the Eight.  Netflix doesn't have Eight.  "Well," anyone who is familiar enough with Doctor Who might say, "There was only the one movie."  Yes.  But you see, it was an American movie.  i have managed to watch the movie nonetheless, Afterwards, I went to look up information, like I do.  Turns out the movie was an attempt to jump start an American version of the series.  And why did it fail?  Because Fox failed to advertise properly.  I add this to my list of shows that dies on account of being on Fox.

Not that I'm terribly disappointed.  I rather suspect the British woudl have never forgiven us.  But still, I'm amused.

On to the new series!
